Whirlwinds

The last three weeks have been a whirlwind.  We hosted our Jr. Regionals volleyball tournaments the last two weekends at my job, and I have been working late hours every night (getting home around 9 or 10pm), plus working the last 4 weekends.  It is exhausting, and it makes me glad I don't have to work like this year round.  Sometimes at this time of year, I begin to refer to the office as "home..."

Here is the office on a "good" day during Regionals.  The bins are all filled with stuff for each site, Michelle is making wall charts, I'm sitting at my desk stuffing folders, and you can't see all the other stuff around the corner.

Lynn worked as a site director with me the first weekend, so we at least got to do some sister bonding!  We also managed to wad all the stuff from our site and ourselves into my car.

This past Sunday I left Regionals early and drove to Storm Lake to help with the final High Performance tryout.  Tornados has gone through the Storm Lake area on Saturday night, and there was a ton of farm debris (silos, pieces of barn, downed wire, and more) littering the fields.  Even though the last few weeks in my life have been a real whirlwind, I thank God that we did not have any real whirlwinds!
