My Dad has been the varsity volleyball coach at Pella Christian HS for the last 19 years (and has coached for 30+ years), and has decided to retire from coaching. He will still be teaching, but decided it was a good time to stop coaching. We decided to have a walk-in reception for him and invited former players, families, and friends to come and visit. We had it at Veel Hoeden in Pella (the co-working space where my Mom's office is), and decorated with all kinds of PC volleyball decor!
Dad raided his room at school and pulled out team photoes from almost every year, state tournament booklets, season books with stats, etc. I am proud to say that I am still top 5 in a number of stat categories!

Mom brought about a million PC t-shirts, and we draped them over the chairs.
Sharla has been the official scorekeeper for longer than Dad has been coaching at PC, but she is not ready to retire!
