Baby Changing Table

When my Grandma moved into the Comfort House a month ago, the dresser that she had in her room came to our house to become our changing table/dresser for the baby.  This was not an expensive dresser, and it wasn't very well put together, so it needed some repairs.  The bottom on the back had come loose, so it was very shaky.  I glued it back together, and put in a bunch of screws to make it sturdier.  Then Scott and I put some extra screws in the sides and also fixed the drawers so they would no longer hang crookedly and would pull in and out more easily.

Finished!  My brother gave us a changing pad for Christmas, and I staged  it with a basket to put diapers in, some baby wipes I was given as a gift, and the 2 onesies we have.  That is pretty much all the baby things we currently own.
You may notice that the changing table is sitting in the living room.  We have plans to empty out and paint the 3rd bedroom that we have been using for storage, move the study to that room, and put the baby in the study.  Yesterday we discovered some water leaking in the corner of the 3rd bedroom, and we're pretty sure it's due to the gutter being clogged.  Unfortunately, this is slowing down the process of moving stuff, as we now have to do a ceiling repair before painting.  Hopefully we will have time to get this done and create a place for baby before it is born!  In the meantime, we have a lovely dresser/changing table in our living room.
