We finally got most of the stuff moved out of the spare room (and into the storage unit, which is much fuller now). Of course, right before we started to paint, we had a small water problem in the ceiling--the gutter right outside here was too full, and a little water came in and dripped through the ceiling. Scott cleaned out the gutter, and then peeled off the bad ceiling and repaired it.

| Stupid water spot in the ceiling. |
| Study before...notice how each wall seems to be a different color. You can't see it in this picture, but the wall to the left is laminate wood paneling. Nice. |
| Here is Scott repairing the ceiling. |
| While he's at it, he is also fixing the crack in the spare bedroom ceiling. That will get painted as well...but we may not be taking down the ugly rose wallpaper for a while. |
This past weekend I was making a little money by running a volleyball tournament in Des Moines, and Scott spent Friday and Saturday painting. He also did the dishes, the laundry, and cleaned the bathroom...he is the world's best husband.

| Ceiling painted and two coats of gray paint...done! Except the corner where he repaired the ceiling, as that needed a little more time to dry. |
| We still have to paint the trim around the window, and will likely paint the door as well. Once the paint is done, we will shampoo the carpet, and move the study into here. I will finally have desk space! |
| We spontaneously bought a new bookcase a couple weeks ago at the unfinished furniture store, and it was finished this weekend. My books now have a beautiful home...with room to spare. Although, I do have a couple more boxes of books in storage... |
| And finally, a finishing touch in the laundry room. I found curtains at the Bible thrift store that matched, so we hung them up, and I think that room is done! |
y'all and all your work make me tired - lol ;-D - love the new book cases!
