The other day Scott called me over to the window to look at our pear tree. We throw most of the pears that fall off the tree right under the tree or into the lily plants near it in order to mow, and let them "compost" there over the winder. Apparently, every grackle in the city of University Park is feasting on our pears. I'm not sure what a flock of grackles is called...a group of crows is called a murder, maybe grackles are too!
| We knocked on the window and they all flew up into the tree. Ten seconds later, they all came back down to eat pears. |
Laurel sticks out her tongue a lot right now, so almost every picture we have of her smiling has her tongue sticking out. It's cute now...hope she's not doing this when she's 10!
| See, Daddy can stick out his tongue too! |
