Our church has their annual dessert auction fund raiser on Sunday, and I signed up to bring a couple desserts. I made one of this tonight...it stores in the freezer, so will be fine until Sunday. Plus, I'm playing in a volleyball tournament on Saturday, and I'm so out of shape, I am pretty certain I will not want to bake ANYTHING on Saturday night!
The cake part of the roll is angel food cake from a box. I baked it in two 15x10 inch pans, then took each one out and rolled it in a towel to cool. The recipe makes two rolls, so I will be donating one for the auction, and keeping one in the freezer for us to eat!

| When the cake has cooled, you flatten it out and spread it with a mixture of cool whip and peppermint extract. |
| I smashed up a bunch of candy canes and starlight mints with my meat tenderizer. That was fun...and loud! |
| Then you drizzle on hot fudge, and sprinkle with the chopped peppermints. |
| These pictures turned out interesting...the camera was set to focus only on a strip across the middle and be blurred on the edges, and I couldn't figure out how to change it. |
| All rolled up and frosted with the rest of the cool whip mix! Into the freezer they go! |
I am bidding on this!!!
