This past weekend we finally made it out to visit Scott's mom and Jim to celebrate Christmas. Scott's brother Shawn and family also drove out that morning from Iowa City (and drove home that night, although they had a little adventure with their van overheating and had to call someone to come get them about an hour from home and got home at midnight). We spent the whole weekend there! Melanie had the weekend off, so she got to spend all of Saturday with us...so nice to see her.
