Tummy Time Blues

In the middle of me taking a bunch of pictures of her, she made this face, then totally filled her diaper with poo.  I guess this is the "pooping" face.

Yesterday morning I had a lot of work to do, but Laurel was being fussy and didn't want me to sit down, even while holding her.  She usually enjoys being outside, so I brought my "office" outside.  Never mind that you can see facebook up on my laptop, I really was working!  Laurel eventually fell asleep, so she got to take a little nap on the front porch in her carseat.  You may also notice the fan...it was a little over 80 degrees and there wasn't much of a breeze, so I enhanced the great outdoors with a little electrical breeze.

 Laurel has never really like tummy time, and we were pretty slack in making her do it for a couple months.  However, it is good for her and important (and she is close to rolling over), so we've started in on the tummy time again.  You can see by her face how much she likes it!

That picture was yesterday.  Tonight during tummy time she didn't cry, but just lifted her head and looked at me in front of her, then squirmed forward a little bit and grabbed my finger.  Progress!
