On Easter Sunday we gathered at my parent's house with my family (minus one sister and her family) for lunch. After we ate, we hid a bunch of Easter eggs around the yard so the little kids could hunt for them. We did a pretty good job hiding them! Half of them were filled with chocolate, and the other half were "Resurrection Eggs." Each one of those has a Bible verse and an object relating to the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ: pieces of silver, a cross, nails, vinegar on a sponge, a rock, and the last egg is empty, signifying the empty tomb. After we found all the eggs, we distributed them among the family members and took turns reading the verses and showing the objects.
