I drink decaf coffee while I'm nursing. I have had regular coffee a few times, and every time I do, Nicolas is awake much later that night than usual. I value my sleep enough that I can give up coffee (and I LOVE coffee) while Nicolas is nursing...and while I'm pregnant; it has been a long three years without caffeine! Anyway, Scott is still drinking coffee, so the coffee pot is usually filled with regular coffee. I've been hoarding up my fun money, and I decided to spend some of it on a chemex coffee maker.
Some friends introduced me to the chemex a couple months ago. The coffee was wonderful, no bitterness, and you can really control the strength. I bought the 3 cup maker, so now I can have a mug and a half of delicious coffee any time I want some!
