This past Thursday we drove out to Western Iowa to watch Melanie perform in a play. She had the part of Mrs. Bucket in Willy Wonka. The play was very similar to the movie (the original version of the movie with Gene Hackman), and we really enjoyed seeing the play. Laurel and Nicolas enjoyed spending some time with Grandma and Grandpa Fender!
