The wonderful ladies in my Bible study group decided we wanted to have a Mom's Night Out, and decided to have a canvas/art night. We talked to a couple people who could teach something like this, and ended up going to Exodus 31 Art Ministries. It is located outside of Sully, and the instructor is an art teacher at the school in Pella. What a great teacher, and wonderful ministry, and a growing time for all of us budding artists! The nice thing about this experience was that we didn't receive instructions to make a copy of a certain painting, but were led in how to each create a unique work of art. We had not indicated a theme for our painting, and I was thrilled to find out we were painting nests with birds, as my favorite way to decorate is anything to do with trees. We had a great time, and I would highly recommend Exodus 31 Art Ministries to anyone in the area!
